The free barbecues, grassy picnic spots, and playgrounds make it such a family-friendly place, and stand-up paddleboarding is one of my favourite ways to enjoy the water—while others cruise by on their tinnies, canoes, yachts, and jet skis.
Most Friday and Sunday afternoons you’ll find live music in front of the Boathouse—it’s the perfect way to wind down and soak up the atmosphere. This spot holds so many special memories for me—bringing our kids down to play in the parks, master all things on wheels, catch their first fish, and meet family and friends.
