Why Kristy Loves Sunshine Beach:

I absolutely love the natural beauty and energy of Sunshine Beach. It’s the perfect mix of barefoot luxury and relaxed village vibes. Mornings often begin with a beach walk, watching surfers or the sunrise, followed by a fresh juice from The Deck.

When our kids were young and we lived in Sunshine Beach, we spent countless hours at Ferris Park. The parents would chat while the kids played, ran across the grassy space, or made up games together. We’ve had many late afternoon picnics there—some of our best memories were made at that park.

The Surf Club is a go-to spot to enjoy a great atmosphere and fabulous food, and there’s nothing like a cold drink overlooking the ocean views on an offshore day. I also love the architecture here. From classic beach homes to modern masterpieces, the variety is inspiring.

When the surf is breaking well, my husband and kids are in the waves while I find a quiet patch of sand to read or take a swim. Sunshine Beach is the ultimate coastal lifestyle.
